Trendy & Affordable Fall Looks for Tweens

Fall is here which means it's time to update our wardrobes. Here in Florida, we can only do so much updating. The weather stays at about 85 degrees until Janaury but that doesn't stop us from rocking some fun fall looks. As you may know, I share my favorite looks from the Aeropostale kids line, P.S. Kids, 4 times a year and their fall line definitely doesn't disappoint. It's trendy, fun and most importantly, affordable!!

Adrian loves the P.S. from Aeropostale active wear lines. The easiest way for us to transition to fall is by adding a lightweight jacket like the colorblock one Adrian is wearing. It's perfect for cooler mornings. 

You guys know that Amberly loves a bohemian look. Once she saw this peasant dress, she was in heaven!

Peasant dresses must be worn with a cool faux pearl headband! It only completes the look!

There is nothing I love more than to see Adrian in a plaid button down and destroyed skinny jeans. This is his best look! A button down is perfect as a layering piece or dressed up with a nice pair of khakis!

Eight Is Great and Easy To Find At Carter's

There is a weird phenomenon going on in my house right now. All three kids are a size 8 in clothing. Yup, all three. Usually, they are three different sizes but not anymore, at least not right now. The big problem with this is that they have all grown out of their current clothes at the same time so a shopping trip was in order! With back to school right around the corner, I knew I had to take the time now to get them all to a store and get new play clothes before out crazy schools schedules start. Here in Florida, we have hot weather year round so no fall shopping for us but we did manage to get some really fresh, fun and comfy clothes at Carter's!

Finding clothes that my kids love and are age-appropriate isn't always easy. Carter's understands the need for on-trend fashions for kids int heir growing stages, which is why they've introduced size 8 for their latest styles!

Shopping with three kids is never easy so I made sure to go during the week and after they had dinner. No cranky kids for me! I also wanted to take full advantage of the Bright Now Sale going on from 07/14-08/04 where everything in the store is 40% off!!

I let my kids make their own choices when it comes to their clothing. As long as it is age and occasion appropriate and it matches, they can pretty much express their own styles! 

Gian likes to dress up a little more than Adrian so I was very surprised when he picked a graphic tee and pants but man, he picked an adorable tee!! Adrian went straight for the activewear section, picked an active tee and pants. He will probably live in this outfit for weeks!

Amberly is the resident earth child. She was so excited when she saw these overalls in the store. I love that she looks her age, is trendy (overalls are super trendy right now) and is happy with what she is wearing!!! None of this is ever easy with a 9 year old girl!

Springtime is Playtime at P.S. from Aeropostale

Spring is right around the corner!!! Even though, we have nice weather year-round in South Florida, it's always nice to refresh our wardrobes come Spring. Spring is a time of renewal. For those of you that are stuck at home because of the snow, it's time to start thinking about Spring and all the fun you are going to be having outdoors once the snow melts and the temps rise. I've already gotten ready for Spring by going out and buying new and fun clothes for the kids. You guys already know how much I love P.S. from Aeropostale clothing for my kids and their new Spring line does not disappoint!

Spring clothes is all about bright, light and fun. During Spring, we are outside ALOT and I make sure to stock up on appropriate clothing for my kids. Think polos, T-shirts, shorts and skirts! For Amberly, my girlie girl, it's all about skirts and tees this spring:

Nothing says spring like bright colors. Amberly loves super colorful outfits and this outfit does not disappoint. Oh and the best part, skirt and shirt only $18. Time to stock up on more colors!

Adrian's look is a little sportier. He has been wanting jogger pants for a while now so I got him a navy pair and dressed them up with a polo. He was happy and comfortable in his outfit. I also made sure to get him cargo shorts and more polos.

Gian loves graphic tees. Anything with music or instruments on it. P.S. from Aeropostale has tons of fun graphic tees for kids. I paired his graphic tee with gingham shorts that can also be dressed up with a polo or button down.

Honestly, the best part of these outfits was how comfortable they were in them. I didn't get one complaint and they played outside for hours. Also, I spent less than $60 for all three outfits which to be is fantastic. It's not always easy to get age-appropriate and fun kids clothes for a good price but I can always count on P.S. from Aeropostale!

Style Saturday: Target

If you've been a reader of this blog for a while, you know all about my Target obsession. It's just so perfect, they have everything I need/want in one store! Doesn't get any better than that. While, I was on my weekly stroll, I noticed a bunch of cute new items that I need to share and you know its affordable. I really want to go back and buy everything shown here.

Starting with work. Not only does this scream fall, it's also perfect for work! I'm really into monogram necklaces and need to add this one to my collection! A shirt dress is dressy enough for work but also super comfortable. This one is under $20, can't beat that!

I love this next outfit so much. I think pairing a super feminie lacy blouse with deconstructed jeans is such a perfect casual outfit. Add in a man's watch and super girly earrings and it's a great mix.

Back to School Fun at P.S. from Aeropostale

I love shopping for back to school. Only problem? Shopping for fall clothes in Miami is difficult. We don't actually have a typical fall season. No boots and sweaters here, we continue in swimsuits and flip-flops through December. However, since swimsuits and flip-flops are not considered "proper school attire", I needed to go back to school clothes shopping. 

As the kids get older, they like to provide input as to what to wear. I love it. Each has their own style and liking. One of their favorite stores to shop at is P.S. from Aeropostale. They walk in like they own the place, grab a bunch of stuff they like and off to the fitting rooms! 

I asked them to pick out something to wear for the first day back and here's what they came up with. I love all three looks!

Graphic tee/ jeans/ denim vest/ skater dress/ plaid shirt

Adrian prefers a more athletic laid back look. He picked this "In it to win it" tee, skinny jeans and cap. 

Gian prefers a more put together look. He chose a plaid button down with straight jeans!

Amberly is really into the new "mixed print" trend so she picked a paisley print denim vest and skater dress. This girl could live in dresses! Oh and she says she is going to wear the denim vest with everything!

                            

I love this skull cap. The black on black rocks! Oh and the skull just screams FALL!!

                         

All these looks are so perfect for back to school. All the clothes are great for the classrooms and hanging out with friends after school!

Vintage Prints: Amberly loved this line and they seriously need to make these dresses in adult sizes. They are so adorable! This line is all about graphics like ponies, puppies, foxes, floral-things girls love to wear.
