Too Many Jeans? Help Support Teens for Jeans!

Do you own way too many jeans? Does you teen have way too many jeans? More than you know what to do with? Great! I've got the solution for you!

Through February 16, 2014, you can help support P.S. By Aeropostale Teens for Jeans campaign, in partnership with DoSomething.org, by dropping off your gently worn denim at any Aeropostale or P.S. by Aeropostale store in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico.

The Teens for Jeans campaign  encourages young people to donate their gently used denim to help teens in need. Approximately one in three homeless people in the U.S. is under the age of 18 and one of the most requested items that young people in homeless shelters ask for is a pair of jeans. In the past 6 years, this campaign has collected over 3.5 million pairs of jeans and donated to help these teens in need!

Let's join the movement and help teens in need. All donations will be distributed to local homeless shelters and charities. As a thank you for each pair donated, P.S. from Aéropostale will give an additional 25% off a new pair of jeans, though no purchase is necessary.

A Year of Memories!

I love taking pictures. Between my camera and phone, I take thousands of pictures of the kids every year. I also am too lazy to develop them and put them in an album. That's why I love photo books. Last year, I started a new tradition where I create a photo book to round-up all the pics I take. My favorite site for photo books is Shutterfly (this is not a sponsored post, I'm just mentioning my favorite site, there are many more you can use).

I have the Shutterfly app on my phone and just upload pics as I take them. Then, at the end of the year, I just go through the pics and put together my book. Now, I am very indecisive so it takes me about three months to finalize my book. There are so many layouts, page ideas, embellishments, frames, etc that you can use. It's very hard for me!

Today, I want to share our 2013 book with you. First, some of the pages so you can get an idea of layouts and embellishments. Then there's link to the full photo book.

Cover:

Page 1: On the first page, I write a little summary of our year. This year I wrote that we had our first family vacation, JC's first Crossfit competition, I started a blog!!, Gian lost his first tooth and so on.

Like I mentioned before, there are many layouts you can use. I usually start the book with a bunch of random pics from the first two or three months of the year.

From our day at the circus........

Our little Cinco de Mayo celebration at home:

Of course, a sports page....

Back to School....

Our Halloween fun...

Our first family photo shoot. These were my favorites from the shoot.

I always end the book with another round-up of random pics. Some don't really have a holiday or event associated with them. It's just us having fun together throughout the year.

You can check out the complete photo book here:

Click here to view this photo book larger
Shutterfly photo books offer a variety                                          of layouts and cover options to choose from.

Do you create photo books for family memories?

Valentine's Day Style for Kids

Valentine's Day is right around the corner! I'm not a huge fan of Valentine's Day but they do bring out super cute kids clothes for that day. I love all the red, pink and hearts associated with Valentine's Day. My favorite part is that you are able to wear the clothes over and over again. So I decided to round up all my favorite pieces for girls, boys and babies that I found online and share them with you.

1. This adorable personalized bow is available on Etsy. Another awesome creation by The Sweet B Collection.
2. Keep your little one cozy on Valentine's Day in this sweater one-piece from GAP.
3. Carter's Kid Girl Long Sleeve Heart tee is perfect for Valentien's Day and beyond.
4. Let your baby know he is hte Man of Your Dreams in this tee from Walmart.
5. Your tweens can dress up their Valentine's Day outfits with this heart tee from P.S. by Aeropostale.
6. Paging Dr. Love! This shirt from GAP is perfect for all our future surgeons!
7. Can someone explain to me why GAP doesn't make these skinnies in adult sizes? Seriously! I want a pair!
8.  Adrian will let everyone know he is King of my heart when he wears this Gymboree tee on Valentine's Day!
9.  Your little princess can easily express her love in this Pleated Heart Dress from GAP.

Tell me, do you dress up your kids for Valentine's Day?
