So in our family, 4th of July consists of a full beach day and then watching the fireworks at a nearby golf course. It is TONS of fun and gets the kids super super tired! Besides, we were leaving on vacay the next day and I needed them to sleep!
First, the beach:
Yup, we convinced my mom to go with us. This woman is super pale so she avoids the sun as much as possible.
The kids love for JC to bury them in the sand and make cool shapes such as a mermaid, the Hulk and a shark!
After the beach, we go home, have dinner (BBQ salmon that night) and then go to the Biltmore Golf Course to watch their spectacular fireworks show:

It started raining during the show, but we just pulled our blankets over our heads and continued watching. It was our second 4th of July together as a family and it was great! Looking forward to many more!
