So Long First Grade!!

Today is Adrian's last day of first grade. He is ecstatic! He has been counting down to this day for the past couple of months. Of course, something like the last day of school, would bring out a math genius!!

Here's the first/last day comparison. It's crazy how much his face has changed in 9 1/2 months!

You learned so much in first grade. You can read and comprehend what you are reading. You can read chapter books now, your favorite: Junie B. Jones. You can write in sentences and spell words easily. You also learned how to add and subtract and are working on multiplication. Your teachers say you are a visual learner. "Put it in front of him and he can figure it out." I asked you yesterday and your favorite subject in first grade was P.E.! Of course! You have changed so much this year. You have matured and really come into your own. I am so very proud of you! Mommy loves you very much!!
