Go Paperless and Save Money at Walgreens #WalgreensPaperless #CollectiveBias

I'm a couponer. I love saving money using coupons. It is a rare instance that I go to a store without having my coupons ready at checkout. It is time-consuming to sit around on the weekends and clip coupons, organize them, make lists and examine sales flyers. I knew I needed to cut some time off this process, yet still have my coupons. I was super excited to find out that Walgreens now has paperless coupons available in their phone app.  I knew I had to try this new feature out as soon as I could!

I didn't have to wait much because as soon as I checked my email, I received a message from Adrian's school with his school supply list for classes that begin mid-August. Of course, the supply list is long and the "class donation" list is even longer. I knew I needed to get a jump start on purchasing items from this list since school supply sales are best during the summer. I opened up my Walgreens app to see if there were any coupons for back to school items and DING, DING, DING: COUPONS!!! I selected the ones I needed, according to the app I was going to save $9 and off to Walgreens I went!

It was so nice to go to Walgreens and get what I needed without lug around my coupon binder. All I needed was my phone and credit card. I grabbed a cart and went directly to the Back-To-School aisle. 

I grabbed a couple of folders, erasers, school glue, a compass, disinfecting wipes and a couple of other things I had "clipped" coupons for.  Walgreens Paperless Coupons are manufacturer eCoupons that are "clipped" to your Balance Rewards account.

After the cashier scanned all my items, they scanned the barcode on the Walgreens app and my coupons were automatically applied.Each paperless coupon can only be used once. Once the coupon is redeemed, it will be deleted from your coupon list.

I saved $9 on only a couple of the supplies from the school supply list. These savings were added to our Vacation Jar!! We are saving up to go on a Disney Cruise and we get so excited every time we are able to put money in the jar!!
