A Day In The Life of Paris!

I love day in the life posts and today I decided I would do a day in the life of my dog, Paris. Remember my post last week when I talked about her growing older gracefully? Well this is an update to that. This time all about her current life! She has the greatest setup ever. A family who dotes on her, no responsibility (except for "no peeing on the carpet") and all the food she wants. In my next life, I want to be Paris!

Paris wakes up kinda early. Now, let's not get crazy with early. When JC heads down the stairs at 5 am to go to the gym, she is snoring, but when I get up around 7:00 a.m., I can hear her walking around downstairs. I come down, put on her leash and we go outside for a walk.

After the walk, she gets a treat, begs Adrian for some of his breakfast food and then we leave. Paris stays at home all day and does this:

ALL DAY! Sometimes I will come home for lunch around 1pm, the house is dark and she is snoring away. Once we get home around 5:30pm, it's go time. Adrian will take her for a walk and she hangs out with us until it's time to go to bed. She will play fetch with her all-time favorite toy, a tennis ball, she will beg for food, hang out on the balcony and bark at the neighbors. You know, dog stuff.

Oh and let's not forget the play fighting once my brother gets home from work. Paris and my brother will play fight for hours if possible. He shakes his hand over her face and she pretends to bite him. She loves this and once they are done, she jumps on the couch, lays on my brother's lap and watches TV. She loves Wild Kratts and football!

You would never guess that she is 14 years old. At age seven, dogs are considered seniors but Paris acts like a much younger dog. I think it's her food. I have noticed a change in her since I started feeding her Purina® Pro Plan® Bright Mind dog food. I know that Purina® Pro Plan® Bright Mind is specially formulated to increase cognitive awareness in adult dogs and I have noticed a change in Paris. She is a little more responsive than usual.

Interested in trying out Purina® Pro® Plan® with your dog? Well right now at Petsmart, if you Spend $10 on any Purina Pro Plan Dry Dog or Cat Food* at PetSmart between 8/31 and 10/4, you can save $10 on your next Purina Pro Plan Dry Food purchase, 14-lb. or more, on or before 11/1.

Tell me about a day in the life of your dog? Do they sleep all day like Paris?

  1. One of our dogs is currently stretched out under my desk. I suspect he's dreaming about the squirrels in the backyard! I'm glad Paris is enjoying her new food! #client
