Our night started at the Adele concert. What an incredible concert. Her songs are so powerful and her voice is beautiful. This was also a great date night concert. We were actually there to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. It was a very special evening. We got a babysitter for the kids and had an actual date night. Not just dinner and a movie date night, but a real adult date night.
The concert ended around 10:30 p.m. and as we were walking back to our car, JC mentions that he doesn't want to go home yet. We walk around for a little and I stopped to stare out at our beautiful Miami when I tell JC to come take a picture with me. Well, when I look at the camera for our picture, this was what I saw:
I quickly turned around in shock and he dropped own to one knee and asked me to marry him. I couldn't breathe. I know we have kids and live together but marriage is a big step. I never thought he would actually propose, so when he did, I couldn't even think straight. Obviously, I said yes and have been giddy ever since. I am happy and I can't wait to start planning my wedding!!!
