Sesame Street: K is for Kindness Tour

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. However, all opinions are mine alone.

"Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?"  Every time I hear that song, I have fond memories of my kids enjoying learning with Big Bird and friends. It was such an amazing time in their childhood. Big Bird, Abby Cadabby and Cookie Monster were part of the family. If Sesame Street is currently a favorite in your home, then I have amazing news for you! Our favorite Sesame Street friends are going on tour!

Sesame Street: K is for Kindness Tour is coming to a mall near you! Sesame Street: K is for Kindness Tour, a free, multi-city experiential tour timed to and inspired by the new, 47th season of Sesame Street, the gold standard in children’s television. Created especially for preschool fans and their families, this immersive, limited-engagement tour features hands-on digital learning fun, participation from local libraries in each community including bilingual English / Spanish books and activities, “meet and greets” with the costumed characters, a 15-minute interactive live stage show starring walk-around versions of the series’ beloved characters Elmo and Abby Cadabby, and other special surprises!

"In keeping with the Sesame Street mission, the K is for Kindness Tour aims to spark imagination, inspire a love of reading, cultivate kindness, and provide an element of surprise for children at each and every stop,” says Scott Chambers, Senior Vice President and General Manager, North America Media and Licensing, Sesame Workshop. “The tour complements Sesame Street’s kindness curriculum, which is woven throughout the new season.”

Attention all my Miami and Broward friends: The tour will be stopping at the Pembroke Lakes Mall on Saturday, January 21st between 11am and 4pm

Can you imagine your preschoolers excitement when they their favorite characters in real life? It would make their day and they will learn some kindness along the way. Let's face it, the world could use a little more kindness and who better to teach kindness to than to children!
