Mom life is hard!! Between the constant worry whether or not you are doing the right thing, to chauffering kids all over town to trying to have any semblance of a life, I feel like I am constantly on edge and never doing enough. Most moms probably feel this way and rarely do we even look a little put together. Case in point, I had to look back at pictures from last year to find a picture of me with the kids and where I was even wearing lipstick! Ugh!
I love my kids and would do anything for them but they are a drain. They are a drain on me physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. Sometimes, I feel like I can't take another minute of looking frumpy but then I remember that they are happy, healthy kids and that it is all worth it. One thing I do make sure to do is that I smell good. Listen, we live in Southern Florida. It's hot and humid 350 days out of the year. Let's just say, some body parts can get pretty stinky.
